Phase 5: Proving & Transition | Print |

phase5

Following the completion of the development of the solution and thorough testing by the programme team, within this Phase the solution is transferred to the business for further testing and implementation into live operation.

This Phase contains two main elements of work:

User Acceptance Testing, where the business verifies that the solution is fit for purpose. The ownership of the solution will shift from the programme team to the business at this stage.

Implementation of the solution into live operation once the business is ready to accept the solution. This will be preceded by transitional activities, such as creation of implementation plans, recruitment of new staff, training, data preparation, change impact assessments and business readiness assessments.

Once the solution is successfully implemented, a stabilisation period begins, which is the objective of the next Phase.
