Swindon Borough Council, UK is undertaking a major Business Transformation covering all areas of the Councils operations.

Swindon is a town made famous by the engineering excellence of Isambard Kingdom Brunel who transformed the town into the site of the now famous Great Western Railway locomotive works in the late 19th century.  Since that time Swindon has undergone rapid growth, right up to the present day, with recent developments including the siting of Honda's UK factory in the Borough.

But this rapid change has also brought with it increased demands on the services of the Borough Council and the Council has now decided that incremental change is insufficient to support their needs and have decided to initiate a full Business Transformation programme and have chosen CHAMPS2 to assist them with this task.

Nick Vat, Business Transformation Director at Swindon Borough Council stated that:" CHAMPS2 is providing us with a structured approach to our Business Transformation in Swindon."

To assist the Borough Council, Transformation specialists from the CHAMPS2 team are holding a series of Foundation Training sessions and guidance discussions for the Transformation team in Swindon and have provided the Borough with a local copy of CHAMPS2 to facilitate their use of the Method.
