Socitm launched a new Advisory Service, using tools including CHAMPS2, at their 2011 annual conference in December.
Socitm Advisory offers "new solutions to Socitm members, private, public and third sector clients who are embarking on business transformation, strategic partnerships and collaborative programmes.
"A key success factor for Socitm Advisory will be that, through intelligent collaboration with clients, we elevate and sustain their capability and capacity via knowledge transfer, effective toolkits and proven transformation methodologies such as CHAMPS2."
Socitm is the membership association for all ICT professionals working in Local Authorities and the Public and Third Sectors and suppliers to those sectors.

CHAMPS2 well received at BPUG International Congress |

 The 4th International BPUG Congress was hosted in Bratislava (the capital city of the Slovak Republic) on 6th and 7th April 2011. This is the first time the event has been held outside the UK. The 2 day event was organised by two national associations of project managers, Best Practice User Group (BPUG) United Kingdom www.usergroup.org.uk and Best Practice User Group (BPUG) Slovensko (www.bpug.sk). Both associations are primarily focused on the sharing knowledge and best-practice.
