At Birmingham City Council, where the method was first developed, the benefits included substantial improvements in operating processes, as well as immediate efficiency savings that help to sustain the wider transformation across the Council.
Through this ambitious programme, Birmingham City Council is introducing significant changes to the workplace combined with advances in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) to provide greater choice on where and how employees work. It will deliver these changes within fit for purpose, greener, better utilised and adaptable buildings with lower total operating costs. |
